Puffer jacket dresses exist and they're selling fast thanks to Ezra Miller
It can prove difficult for fashion devotees to stay chic and warm come winter, as last year’s scarf and our fingerless (phone-friendly) gloves don’t quite make for a gram-worthy look.
But Moncler might have just answered this season’s biggest sartorial dilemma with a range of puffer jacket-inspired dresses.
The Italian label is renowned for supplying us with weather-proof outerwear and though it’s latest foray into the puffer coat/dress hybrid is downright genius, it’s sure to divide the fashion crowd.
Actor Ezra Miller first introduced us to the trend after taking to the red carpet in a hooded coat dress plucked from the brand’s collaboration with designer Pierpaolo Piccioli.
Unsurprisingly, his ‘Fantastic Beasts’ premiere ensemble divided the Internet with a number of social media users drawing comparisons to everything from a Dalek to a caterpillar.

But the joke’s on them, as the brand’s £2,415 ‘Isadora’ puffer dress has already sold out online. While there’s only one of the burgundy colourway left to purchase.
For those of you still hoping to recreate the actor’s fabulous wardrobe, there’s also a cape version of the dress up for grabs along with a pair of co-ordinating gloves – the perfect accessory, no?
Further demonstrating Miller’s fashionable influence, two colour-block dresses from the Pierpaolo Piccioli collaboration have also sold out.
Priced at £2,115.39, the down-quilted puffer dresses are certainly more elegant boasting a clinched waist and jewel neckline.
Inspired by the Madonnas of the Renaissance, they’re crafted from laqué fabric with a soft down-filled core. According to the website, the dresses are the perfect marriage between sportswear and haute couture.
But with the collaboration selling fast, you’ll need to hurry in order to beat the Christmas crush.
