This is how to wear your jumper this season according to the LFW runway
London Fashion Week never fails to leave us wishing up an imaginary shopping list but with sky-high prices, the looks aren’t always easy to replicate off the runway.
But you needn’t bag a whole new wardrobe to prep for autumn, as switching up your style can be as simple as throwing on an old jumper – literally.
Over at Victoria Beckham’s 10th anniversary show, models graced the catwalk in split-hem trousers and ankle-skimming dresses but it was their knitwear that really got the crowd talking.
According to the designer, no longer is it enough to merely wear a killer knit, you’ll need to further demonstrate your sartorial prowess in how which you wear it.
Case in point: Beckham’s model gang stomped down the runway with knits slung across their bodies in a nonchalant manner.
While over at Alexa Chung’s debut London Fashion Week show, models were spotted wearing their camel-hued jumpers in a similar style but this time, over raw hem denim sets.
Our go-to style muse Laura Jackson soon picked up on the trend and took to Instagram to demonstrate the perfect way to tackle the tricky transeasonal weather.

We give it a few days before the simple styling trick makes it to an Instagram feed near you. Because in the words of Jackson, it’s the perfect way to banish that “do-I, don’t I” coat dilemma this season.
