Boys, can you see yourself rocking this hairdo?
The autumn/winter 17 runway shows gave us a sartorial heads up that logomania will be back and bigger than ever this season.
But nothing could prepare the fashion crowds for an abundance of ‘fake’ Gucci tees, nineties-inspired FILA hoodies and logo-heavy tights (FYI, we predict they’ll be major news this year).
And it was Russian designer, Gosha Rubchinskiy, who spearheaded the resurgence of eighties logo-centricity, as he walked the Vetements show in a DHL tee a handful of seasons ago.
So when Rubchinskiy teamed up with Adidas for a one-of-a-kind collab, the Moscow-based designer unsurprisingly took logomania to whole new heights.
Over the weekend in Yekaterinburg, Rubchinskiy showcased his latest sartorial offerings but it wasn’t the nineties-inspired sportswear which caught the FROW‘s eye.
One model stepped out rocking a bald head with nothing but the Adidas logo emblazoned in leftover fuzz.
A look designed to draw in double taps on Instagram, the aesthetic may not trickle down to the mainstream anytime soon but if anything, we’ll take it as a not-so-subtle hint that athleisure is far from over this year…
