What channel is FSU softball on today? Time, TV info for NCAA softball tournament 2024

Saturday update: The start of FSU vs. UCF has been delayed because of rain. The game is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.

The road to Oklahoma City and the Women's College World Series starts today as the NCAA softball tournament 2024 begins. Florida State softball is once again a regional host: Can the Seminoles make it to a second straight national championship series?

FSU softball (44-14, 19-5 in ACC) is the No. 15 seed in the NCAA tournament. They will play Chattanooga (42-15, 16-5 in SOCON), UCF (31-23, 12-15 in Big 12) and Auburn (27-20-1, 9-15 in SEC) in the Tallahassee Regional. The four teams will play in a double-elimination tournament from Friday to Sunday, with the one team to avoid two losses advancing to the Super Regional round.

Led by coach Lonni Alameda, the Seminoles reached the championship game of the ACC tournament before falling to Duke. FSU has the sixth-ranked offense in the nation with 7.6 runs per game, led by freshman sensations Jaysoni Beachum (.436 average, 15 home runs, 64 RBIs) and Isa Torres (.364, 8, 53). Also bolstering the offense are All-ACC first-teamers Kalei Harding, Michaela Edenfield and Kaley Mudge.
