According to Pinterest, ‘pineapple Christmas trees’ is one of the most searched terms this year. And surprisingly, the search giant has noted a 3,406 percent increase in interest compared to 2016.
And social media users across the globe are Instagramming their creations with everything from pineapples donning sunglasses to bauble-laden tropical fruits taking over our feeds.
But with zero risk of fallen needles and significantly reduced decorating time, we’re starting to see the appeal in the social media trend ourselves.
