Naomi Campbell goes nude in first ever Vivienne Westwood campaign
Naomi Campbell has gone nude for her first ever campaign for Vivienne Westwood.
The 49-year-old supermodel famously fell over on the designer’s catwalk back in 1993.
Now, 27 years on, she stars alongside the fashion house’s namesake Dame Vivienne Westwood, 78, for its spring-summer 2020 campaign, together with Westwood’s husband, creative director Andreas Kronthaler, 54.

The campaign imagery, shot by photographer Juergen Teller, was styled against a neon lit white space and on the backstreets of the 18th Arrondissement of Paris, where the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood SS20 show took place.
It includes a nude shot of Campbell wearing just a pair of tan heels and a towering black tulle headdress.
Campbell is no stranger to nude shoots – she bared all in a shoot for British Vogue back in July last year, and has previously done nude shoots for the likes of Vogue Brazil, British GQ, Playboy and Interview magazine.
A further campaign shot features Campbell and Westwood wearing coordinating evening dresses, and another features Campbell alongside Kronthaler wearing flamboyant patterned shirts.
Of the campaign, Campbell said: “I believe things in life come along when they are meant to.
“It’s taken 33 years to do a Westwood Campaign and I’m so happy to be doing it in my 49th year. It’s meant to be when its meant to be…”
Dame Vivienne Westwood explained the collection is inspired by mythology.

She said: “When I design clothes they always have to have a story and when somebody shoots me in our clothes I always have to have that story in my mind.
“I’ve been reading mythology - for this it was like we were on our way to paradise and we were all going to change from fish into birds…”
