Naomi Campbell brings star-studded Fashion For Relief to London Fashion Week
London Fashion Week is well underway and Saturday’s long-awaited Fashion for Relief catwalk was as star-strikingly glamorous as we predicted it would be.
Naomi Campbell brought her charity runway show back to her hometown to raise money towards disadvantaged communities in London.
The supermodel was joined by friends and family during as she showcased her latest Spring Summer collection at the star-studded runway show at the British Museum during London Fashion Week.
The South London born model and philanthropist walked the catwalk alongside 19-year-old South Sudanese model Adut Akech, Stella Maxwell, Erin O’Connor and Leomie Anderson dressed in rainbow hued feathered dresses, voluminous tulle gowns and striking tailored suits.
Naomi stunned the audience in a lobster red gown, whilst Adut stormed the catwalk wearing a purple gown that was covered in dramatic ruffles.
The annual extravaganza returned to Naomi’s hometown and attracted famous faces including Naomi Harris, Pierce Brosnan, Paris Brosnan rapper Eve, Slick Rick, Maya Jama and Iris Law, who all arrived on the red carpet to show their support.
Fashion for Relief is a personal charity set up by Naomi Campbell, which is dedicated to fighting poverty, sickness and distress.
It was founded in 2005 and has since raised millions with the help of the event and donations from the world’s most reputable fashion houses. It has hosted events in New York, Cannes, London, Moscow, Mumbai and Dar es Salaam.
