A family affair: David Beckham brings son Romeo to Kent & Curwen AW18 presentation
This season, menswear label Kent & Curwen teamed up with photographer Perry Ogden for its AW18 presentation-turned-exhibition.
In celebration of ‘real men’ and their everyday rituals, Ogden cast everyone from film students to artists for the collaborative project.
Entitled ‘The Boxer, The Artist and The Musician’, the 34-piece exhibition and short film focuses on how the label has adapted since the 1920s to meet the lives of everyday men.

“As a master of documenting British culture Ogden is the perfect person to capture the evolution of Kent & Curwen,” creative director Daniel Kearne said. “There is an honesty and toughness in his work that resonates strongly with what we stand for.”
The photographic series also emphasises the act of ritualistic preparation, as men psych themselves up for everything from a gig to a football game.
And who could be more familiar with the concept than Kent & Curwen partner and style muse David Beckham?
The former football player arrived at the presentation earlier this afternoon with son Romeo in tow while his mum and sister watched on.
“I’ve always respected Perry’s work and he really has captured the essence of the brand in a powerful way,” Beckham said in a press statement. “The idea of preparation strikes a chord with me personally as that has always been a key characteristic of my career.”
The British brand has set up shop just doors down from the flagship store and the must-see exhibition is open to the public until January 9th.
