Should a parent ever admit one child is their favourite?
A guest on ‘This Morning’ has sparked a fierce debate by admitting she favours one child over her other three.
Alisha Tierney-March, from Sheffield, shocked hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield when she brazenly spoke about preferring her second youngest, two-year-old Kennedie, to other other children: Addisson, nine, Harleigh, seven, and Elijah, who is one.
The mother-of-four explained that her bond with Kennedie comes from being able to spend more time with her than her two older children, who have started school.
“Kennedie is just all round nicer to be around,” she confessed.
She also explains she was able to breastfeed Kennedie which allowed a new level of bonding.
Alisha expalined her first-born, Addisson, would cry all the time, while her second-born, Harleigh, was her favourite for a time before Kennedie came along.
If your jaws are on the floor, we wouldn’t be surprised – and many social media users feel the same…
