Emma Raducanu swapped the tennis court for the red carpet to attend last night's Met Gala - the most important event in the fashion calendar.
The newly crowned US Open champion received a last minute invitation to the fundraiser at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art and didn't disappoint with her style choice, arriving at the glamorous event in a monochrome printed silk twill top and skirt made by Chanel.
Fresh from her victory on the court on Saturday, the 18-year-old champion decided to stay on in the Big Apple to attend one of the biggest events of the fashion calendar.

Looking worlds from her familiar sporting self, the tennis star stepped up the glamour in an off-the-shoulder slouchy jacket and matching patterned skirt, all slung over a sharp cropped top.
The black and white design was accentuated by a glittery midriff belt and embellished buckle.

Raducanu finished the look with some sleek black ankle boots and simple yet statement Tiffany jewellery.
She kept her beauty look minimal, with nude lipstick and dewy foundation, which highlighted her youthful skin.

Looking totally at home amongst the fashion famous, the teenager smiled for photographers on the steps of the Met.
And there were plenty of other tennis superstars to keep her company. Earlier in the night, 39-year-old Serena Williams wowed fans with her lavish attire.
The tennis pro lit up the event in an oversized feathery cape that took up the entirety of the Met Gala stairs.
Underneath the statement cape, the Grand Slam champion wore a white lace bodysuit adorned with pink sequinned stars, while towering silver heels added to the look.

They weren't the only tennis representatives in attendance either. One of the event's co-chairs, Naomi Osaka, wore an amazing statement ensemble by Louis Vuitton.
The custom corseted dress in a brightly coloured, graphic jacquard was finished with a red belt and silk ruffled cape and a lengthy train of satin.
Meanwhile, Leylah Fernandez - the 19-year-old Canadian who was beaten by Raducanu in the final - slipped out of her tennis whites and into something altogether more glamorous, also opting for monochrome in a chic black and white minidress.
Raducanu is expected to fly back to the UK this week, where she has received a wave of invitations to other glitzy events.
We can't wait to see the future red carpet looks she might serve up (pun totally intended).
