Chrissy Teigen gives it to us straight, tells us all about her lopsided breastfeeding boobs
When it comes to motherhood Chrissy Teigen is well known for keeping things real.
Whether she’s firing back at the mum shamers, opening up about her battle with postpartum depression or bravely speaking out about her fertility struggle which lead to hear and husband John Legend having IVF, the model and TV presenter is all about shattering the illusion of perfect parenting.
Her latest attempt to take down the filter on motherhood has seen her sharing a photo of her uneven boobs that she believes was caused by breastfeeding.
Taking to Snapchat on December 18, the pregnant star showed off her mismatched cleavage.
“View from above. I really should have nursed out of both boobs (when I nursed),” the soon-to-be mother of two jokingly captioned the picture.
By sharing the image to social media, not only is Chrissy showing everyone she’s not ashamed of having boobs that are slightly different, she’s also proving that the effects pregnancy and motherhood can have on women’s bodies are completely normal.
Chrissy certainly isn’t alone in finding that babies prefer one boob over the other when breastfeeding.
Earlier this year professional midwife Cath Curtin revealed that the reason behind the boob bias is that women tend to lactate better on one side.

And having lopsided boobs isn’t the only pregnancy and motherhood related issue Chrissy Teigen has been opening up about. The star is currently expecting her second baby with husband John Legend and has spoken out about one of the less-than-pleasant side effects she’s experiencing; crippling headaches.
I love being pregnant. I like it more than not being pregnant. But the headaches, my god the headaches. Someone…please help. Don’t say water. Or Tylenol. Or iron. Or magnesium. I need witchcraft

“I love being pregnant. I like it more than not being pregnant. But the headaches, my god the headaches,” she wrote on Twitter. “Someone…please help. Don’t say water. Or Tylenol. Or iron. Or magnesium. I need witchcraft.”
And it turns out that Chrissy isn’t alone in experiencing this particular pregnancy side effect, with fans commenting on her post with a wide range of potential remedies including essential oils, Vicks Vapour Rub and acupuncture.
One user even suggested ice on the back of your neck as a safe cure for headaches.
According to the NHS pregnancy can be a trigger for headaches since headaches in women are often caused by hormones.
“Headaches can get worse in the first few weeks of pregnancy, but they usually improve or stop completely during the last six months. They don’t harm the baby, but they can be uncomfortable for you,” the site reads.

They suggest preventative measures like upping your rest and relaxation, pregnancy yoga could help with this.
“Taking paracetamol in the recommended dose is generally considered safe for pregnant women,” the site reads. “However, there are some painkillers you should avoid in pregnancy, such as those containing codeine, unless prescribed by your doctor.”
Though headaches should subside, the site recommends telling your midwife or GP if your headaches are really bad so they can offer advice. “Severe headaches can be a sign of high blood pressure and you should seek urgent advice, as this could indicate a serious condition called pre-eclampsia,” the site advises.
