Chrissy Teigen shuts down mum-shamers before she's even been trolled

As any new mum will testify, one of the toughest parts of motherhood is trying to figure things out under the constant watchful gaze of other judgy judgy parents. And no one knows this better than Chrissy Teigen.

Since welcoming baby Luna with her husband John Legend last April, the 31-year-old model has had to deal with being mum-shamed for literally every parenting decision she makes. From daring to go out to dinner without her baby, to how she chooses to carry little Luna, the parent police are quick to slam her every move.

Thankfully, Chrissy doesn’t let the trolling get her down and we’ve come to love her witty retorts putting the keyboard warriors well and truly back in their boxes.

“I went to dinner. People are pissed. Good morning!” she tweeted after getting shade for her baby-free date night.

“Really because that’s how I’m f***ing holding her,” was her response to the baby carrying concern.

So good is she at shutting down the trolls that she’s even able to spot what she’s about to be shamed about and nip the criticism in the bud before its even been dished out. Skills.

Last night, the new mum posted a sweet snap of baby Luna pottering around in her nappy. Adept at dealing with criticism Chrissy pre-empted she would get comments saying she should change Luna’s nappy and shut them down before the trolls had even switched on their computers.

“This diaper is never not blue so don’t even start with me,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.

And Team Chrissy loved it!

“People are so pathetic to worry about how your babies diaper looks or the way you hold your child! Stop attacking this beautiful mother of her equally beautiful daughter,” one woman wrote.

“God forbid you take a cute picture before changing the child’s diaper,” added another.

“Pretty sure my LO waits for a clean diaper just to pee in it instantly!” another mum shared.
