Remembering Trump's topless Kate Middleton tweets and the other times he's been inappropriate towards the Royal Family
Donald Trump will visit the UK on 3 June with the First Lady, Melania and four of his five children.
The US President’s three-day trip includes a private lunch with the Queen. He’s also expected to meet Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry during his stay.
Meghan Markle will avoid Trump, as she’s on maternity leave.
Donald Trump has been more than vocal about the Royal family in the past, though.
Here’s a look back at some of the moments that probably won’t be brought up around the dinner table.

1. When he commented on topless pictures of Kate Middleton
The paparazzi used a long lens to take pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge sunbathing topless on her private property.
Donald Trump tweeted about the incident, suggesting that she was the one to blame.
“Who wouldn’t take Kate’s picture and make lots of money if she does the nude sunbathing thing. Come on Kate!” He wrote.

Kate Middleton is great--but she shouldn't be sunbathing in the nude--only herself to blame.

2. The time he said he could have “nailed” Princess Diana
After Princess Diana died in 1997, Donald Trump was doing an interview with Howard Stern.
The interviewer asked: “Why do people think it’s egotistical of you to say you could’ve gotten Lady Di? You could’ve gotten her, right? You could’ve nailed her.”
The President replied: “I think I could have. She was actually really beautiful. I thought she was supermodel beautiful.”
In his 1997 book ‘The Art Of The Comeback’ he wrote: “I only have one regret in the women department — that I never had the opportunity to court Lady Diana Spencer.”

3. When he walked in front of the Queen in 2018
During Trump’s last visit to the UK in 2018, he sent Royal family fans wild on social media by walking in front of the Queen.
It’s a big royal no-no to walk in front of the Queen.
Eagle-eyed tweeters were aghast that she has to side-step around him.

4. That other time he gave Princess Diana “the creeps”
It’s widely documented that the President sent Princess Diana flowers to her Kensington Palace home.
Talking to British TV anchor, Selina Scott, she said: “What am I going to do? He gives me the creeps.”
Selina Scott said she felt that Trump was “stalking” Diana.

.... and the time the Royal Family fought back
While the Royal family keep their political allegiances to themselves, Meghan Markle made hers pretty clear before she became a part of the family.
In an interview in 2016 she called Donald Trump “misogynistic” and said she would consider staying in Canada (where she was filming ‘Suits’ at the time) if he won.
With run ins like this, there’s reason Prince Harry might find Donald Trump’s behaviour creepy.
