Ranking Bucks County's best running backs in 2024 PA high school football season
These guys got game.
Whether its speed, agility or a lethal combination mixed with seeing the field and knowing their quarterback, they can turn it on and wow a Friday night crowd in Bucks County as the PIAA high school football season revs up for the 2024 season set to start Aug. 23.
Today, we rank the Bucks County area's best running backs. All players listed are seniors unless otherwise noted.
Here we go:
1. Raymond Holman, Morrisville
A first-team Bicentennial Athletic League selection last season, he rushed for a single-season school record 1,954 yards and a single-season school record 18 touchdowns. He also set a single-game record with 268 yards in the District One Class A championship game victory over Jenkintown.
2. Ryan Clemens, Central Bucks West
A first-team Suburban One League National Conference selection last season, he ran for 1,407 yards with 11 rushing touchdowns.
3. Dez Ortiz, La Salle High
A junior, he was a second-team Philadelphia Catholic League Red Division selection last season. He ran for 325 yards, averaging nearly seven yards a carry.

4. Aidan Mayfield, Bensalem
A junior, he was a second-team Suburban One League Continental Conference selection last season, highlighted by 15 carries for 228 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Hatboro-Horsham. He is also dangerous as a receiver.
5. Gavin Carroll, Quakertown
A second-team Suburban One League Continental Conference selection last season, he's also an outstanding linebacker and wrestler.
6. Sincer Fairey, Conwell-Egan
The ultimate hybrid player, he was first-team Philadelphia Catholic League Blue Division last season at running back, where he had 357 rushing yards on 75 carries and four touchdowns, as well as defensive end (six tackles for loss). You don't see that every day.

7. Kayden Collazo, Hatboro-Horsham
A three-year starter for the Hatters, he will again be their workhorse out of the backfield.
8. Carter Clee, Neshaminy
A junior, he ran for 565 yards and six touchdowns last season on 145 carries. Look for his workload to increase this fall.
9. Jordan Brensinger, Pennsbury
He played more of a secondary role in the offensive backfield a year ago behind Nathan Beighley, now playing at Shippensburg, but that will change this fall.
10. Brady Slate, Bristol
A junior who will have a much larger role in the Warriors' offense this season. A year ago, he ran for 162 yards on just 12 carries with a touchdown. Also caught five passes for 51 yards and a score.
