IndyCar Series schedule at Portland as Alex Palou seeks to extend championship points lead

The IndyCar Series makes its final road-course stop of the season at Portland International Raceway for a 110-lap race on the 12-turn, 1.964-mile course.

Josef Newgarden is coming off a wild win on the short oval in suburban St. Louis that included controversy involving the winner. Alex Palou avoided the chaos around him and expanded his healthy points lead with four races remaining.

Palou clinched the 2023 IndyCar championship by winning by 5+ seconds at Portland. Felix Rosenqvist finished second and Scott Dixon third.
