2024 Tennessee football game-by-game predictions
The 2024 college football season will kick off on Saturday with four Week 0 contests. No. 10 Florida State and Georgia Tech will mark the first game and will be contested in Dublin, Ireland (noon EDT, ESPN).
No. 15 Tennessee will open its 2024 campaign in Week 1. Rankings reflect the preseason US LBM Coaches Poll.
The Vols will host Chattanooga at Neyland Stadium on Aug. 31. The in-state matchup is slated for 12:45 p.m. EDT and will be televised by SEC Network.
2024 will mark the first season with an expanded 12-team College Football Playoff format. The Southeastern Conference also expanded in 2024, adding Oklahoma and Texas, while also eliminating East and West divisions.
