While international travel is still limited, future Ferris wheel passengers can expect stunning, 360-degree views of Dubai's famous skyline.
The giant wheel measures almost double the height of its UK counterpart, the London Eye, which stands at 135m, or 440ft, tall.
It also tips the scales at 25% more than the Eiffel Tower - weighing in at 9,000 tonnes, compared to the French attraction's 7,300 tonnes.
Ain Dubai, or the Dubai Eye, features 48 capsules, with a total seating capacity of 1,400 people, over double that of the London Eye which can seat 800 people.
