New research by the pizza giant has revealed that almost three-quarters (72%) of couples are planning to eat in rather than go out this Valentine’s Day, with six per cent of men planning to propose over food at home.

With so many Brits shunning a romantic table for two for a takeaway on the sofa, the pizza-maker says Valentine’s Day could be its biggest day of 2017 with 475,000 pizzas expected to be delivered across the UK, that’s around 1,400 pizza’s ordered every single minute.
