The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are on the move
Since 2014, Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace has been the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official residence. However, the couple and their two children have been living in Norfolk while William continues his work as a pilot with the East Anglia Air Ambulance.
An official statement today reveals that Kate and William will be making a move to London to spend more time working on the charities they support and undertaking official work on behalf of the Queen.
Norfolk will “continue to be their home” but Kensington Palace will see much more of the family as William prepares to end his two-year contract with the EAAA in the summer.
“It has been a huge privilege to fly with the East Anglia Air Ambulance. Following on from my time in the military, I have had experiences in this job I will carry with me for the rest of my life, and that will add a valuable perspective to my royal work for decades to come,” he commented.
This revelation comes in line with the news that Prince George is set to begin school in London in September with Princess Charlotte also taking a place at a London-based nursery.
We can’t wait for more royal action.
