Tess Holliday slams Piers Morgan for saying she 'needs better friends' to tell her she's 'dangerously overweight'
Piers Morgan has found a new target for his Twitter trolling: plus-size model Tess Holliday. Unfortunately for him, this is one woman who won’t be bullied.
The beef started in August when Morgan, a British TV host and noted celebrity antagonist, slammed Holliday’s new cover for Cosmopolitan U.K. as “dangerous & misguided.”

Holliday responded to the criticism by calling Morgan and other body-shaming trolls “horrible people” who shouldn’t “worry about my fat ass.”
But a photo of the curvaceous beauty posing in her underwear has set Morgan off again. On Wednesday, he tweeted that the 33-year-old star is “dangerously overweight” and “needs better friends” who will push her to lose weight.
This is very sad. She badly needs better friends, who are going to be more honest with her & explain she is dangerously overweight & should do something about it. https://t.co/79f5hJquNj

Holliday fired back with her own tweet accusing Morgan of being “obsessed” with her.
The last 2 weeks you’ve been obsessed with me. Makes me feel like you’re almost into thicker girls & too afraid to admit it 💁🏻♀️🤣 https://t.co/uBSBHBA942

She wasn’t the only one offended by the 53-year-old’s fat-shaming comment. Many were quick to call out his rude remarks.
This is very sad. Piers badly needs better friends, who are going to be more honest with him & explain he is dangerously unpleasant & should do something about it.

Why is her weight/shape/size any of your business?

Still going on about this? Why do you keep picking on, or should I say, bullying this woman? Fatism alive and well?

What is very sad is you knew the reaction you would get to this tweet. If she is not eating your food or sleeping in your bed it is none of your business

Looks like body positivity won this round against body shaming. Tough break, trolls.
