Super-cool bride wears pink while her bridesmaids wear white
While many of us like weddings to be weddings in their most-traditional sense – white dresses, diamond engagement rings – some brides are choosing to do things a little less conventionally.
Some are going for coloured stones instead of diamonds, for example, while others have chosen less-classic dresses.
But one bride in particular did something wonderfully unique for her wedding; not only did she wear pink instead of white, but had her bridesmaids wear it instead.

The concept is fantastic, but the actual dress is amazing too.
Especially the shade (which is also so very on trend).
Despite her bright idea the Australian bride, Grace Limon, suspected she might have to settle for a white gown anyway since pink ones aren’t exactly common.
“My fave colours are pink and purple, but I never thought that I would actually find a dress in those hues,” she told Australian Cosmopolitan.

“I honestly thought I’d have to settle with a white gown so I was really happy when I saw an Instagram of this number by Hayley Paige.
“My father I think was the biggest fan of the dress (surprisingly!), he was just so amazed at the colour and style and mentioned in his speech that it was the most beautiful dress he had seen.
“The guests loved the dress too, which I was really surprised about because I didn’t think people would love it as much as they did!”

Perhaps not so surprisingly, the bridesmaids donning the shade that the bride would usually be wearing caused occasional mix ups.
“When the hire car driver pulled up at our hotel to pick us up to take us to the church, the driver asked my sister (bridesmaid).. ‘are you Grace?’
“Because she was wearing white, he thought she was the bride!
“When I walked out (as he couldn’t see me as I was inside) I was like ‘Noo, no, I’m the bride!’ and I think he was shocked.”
Sounds like it would be quite fun messing with people, to be honest.
