Stacey Solomon says 'guitar string' stretch marks on chest help baby Rex get to sleep in adorable Instagram post
She’s been super honest about the rollercoaster that is motherhood since giving birth to baby Rex - so it is fitting that now Stacey Solomon is choosing to celebrate her stretch marks.
In an inspirational new post on Instagram, the 29-year-old singer and Loose Women panellist likened stretch marks on her chest to the “silver strings” of a guitar and revealed they help her newborn fall asleep.
The smiling star could be seen holding her three-month-old little boy - who she welcomed with boyfriend Joe Swash in May - in her arms, while lying down and proudly showing off the post-pregnancy marks.
Captioning the image, she wrote: “I know for a fact he wouldn’t settle half as quickly on me if he didn’t have some stretch marks to strum like a guitar every night when he settles for his night sleep.

Stacey has become known for championing body confidence.
Last week, she shared a picture of herself in a bikini taking a dip in the sea on holiday while cradling Rex.
The mum-of-three wrote: “I love my body. Every bit of it.
“Even the bits that society says shouldn’t be there.
“Because EVERY bit of it came together to make him. And Zachary. And Leighton.
