These are the signs your marriage could be heading for divorce
As we’re about to enter the new year, some people may be wondering whether their relationship is on the rocks.
Last year saw the highest rise in divorce rates in England and Wales for more than two decades, according to the Office for National Statistics.
And the most popular day to divorce – the first working day of January – is coming right up.
One law firm has decided to spell out the signs you could be heading for a split.
Claire O’Donnell from Lake Legal said that if people notice two or more of these signs in their relationship, couples should sit down and address them.
“January is one of the busiest times of year for divorce lawyers as spending time together over the holidays can often prove the final straw,” she commented.
“It is possible to get a troubled relationship back on track, and it is essential to act quickly when you spot the early signs that things are heading for divorce.”
