Rihanna's not the only A-list pregnancy in celeb baby boom
Watch: Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are expecting a child
Rihanna and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, have confirmed they are expecting their first child, in a pregnancy reveal that sent the Internet into meltdown.
The Savage x Fenty entrepreneur debuted her baby bump in New York City over the weekend, wearing an oversize pink puffer coat with nothing underneath, casually dropping her mum-to-be news.
Since then the singer's dad has revealed his joy at becoming a grandfather, saying he is "ecstatic" about her pregnancy.
He told The New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: “I’m ecstatic. I’m so happy that I jumped for joy. I’m still so excited.
“Rihanna always said that she wanted children, she loves kids. She always takes care of her cousins’ kids…she’s going to be a good mom.”

Both Rihanna and Rocky have previously opened up about their hopes of becoming parents.
In May 2021, the rapper told GQ that not only was Rihanna indeed "the one," but that starting a family was part of his destiny.
"I think when you know, you know. She's the One," he told the outlet at the time, saying that starting a family was certainly "in my destiny, absolutely."
He added, "I think I'd be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very."
Rihanna also opened up about her motherhood plans, saying wants to have at least "three or four children," whether she has a partner or not.
"I feel like society makes me want to feel like, 'Oh, you got it wrong …' They diminish you as a mother if there's not a dad in your kids' lives," she told British Vogue in March 2020. "But the only thing that matters is happiness; that's the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That's the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love."
The couple aren't the only celebrities imminently set to join the parenting party. In fact 2022 looks set to be a bumper year for A-list births.
Here's a run down of the stars expecting babies this year - and how they announced the news...
Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Jason Statham
Already parents to four-year-old Jack Oscar, the model announced she is expecting a little sibling with her actor fiancé on Instagram last August.
"Taaa daahhh !! #round2," Huntington-Whiteley, 34, wrote on Instagram alongside a series of mirror selfies to display her barely-there baby bump.
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott
Last summer, rumours that the reality TV star turned entrepreneur could be expecting her second child with partner Travis Scott started doing the rounds, something Jenner later confirmed on social media.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the star posted an emotional video that began with her doing a pregnancy test and telling her partner Travis Scott the news.
The clip also featured the couple's three-year-old daughter, Stormi, accompanying them to scans and telling Jenner's mum, Kris Jenner, the happy news by handing over scan pictures.
"Are you pregnant?" her mum asked. "Stormi, we're gonna have a baby! This is one of the happiest days of my life."

The clip ended with Stormi kissing her mother's growing bump.
The announcement that she was expecting her second child contrasts with Jenner's previous pregnancy, during which she remained tight-lipped, with fans barely catching a glimpse of the star’s baby bump and neither Jenner or Scott confirming the news until Stormi was born in February 2018.

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney
Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are soon to become parents, with the couple confirming rumours they were expecting their first child in September.
Having kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight, the couple were first romantically linked in June 2018, before getting engaged the following February and tying the knot in October 2019.
The Hunger Games star's pregnancy was revealed by PEOPLE magazine in September, but has been confirmed more recently during press calls for Don't Look Up.
Lawrence recently told Vanity Fair that she hopes to "protect" her child's "privacy" as much as possible.
Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews
Vogue Williams and husband Spencer Matthews have been busy on the baby producing front, having announced that they're expecting their third child in Spring 2022.
"If you’d have told me a few years ago that by the age of 33 I’d have three beautiful children with the woman of my dreams I WOULD have believed you because that was always the plan…." Matthews wrote on Instagram.
Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas
Last year former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh announced she was pregnant with her second child with partner Ryan Thomas.
Revealing the happy news on Instagram, Mecklenburgh wrote "Here we go again" alongside a sweet snapshot of her and one-year-old son Roman.
Sam Faiers and Paul Knightley
Another ex-TOWIE star used her social media profile to announce she was expecting her third child with boyfriend Paul Knightley.
"Soon to be a family of 5, she wrote alongside an image of her children kissing her bump. "We have a spring baby on the way. We’re so happy and feeling blessed.
"ps keeping this little one a surprise," she added referring to the baby's gender.
