Reese Witherspoon and daughter Ava Phillippe could pass as twins in ski selfie
Reese Witherspoon and her 20-year-old daughter, Ava Philippe often feature on each other’s Instagram accounts and fans are always quick to point out the pair’s similarities.
On Sunday, Instagram users lit up the comments once more when the Oscar-winning actress, 43, shared an a mother/daughter photo of the pair skiing.
“Weekend ski bunnies,” the actor captioned the selfie.

With their matching blonde tresses and piercing blue eyes, the duo looked more like sisters than mother and daughter.
“I’m seeing double,” one user wrote.
“Omg you two are gorgeous, just like two sisters!” another fan commented.
“She does look like she could be your twin! Is this your sister Reese?” another added, while a third simply commented: “TWINS! You literally birthed yourself!”
It isn’t just fans who think the duo look alike, Witherspoon has previously revealed she can see it too.
“I do see the resemblance,” she admitted during a red carpet appearance during the Big Little Lies premiere in 2017, as reported by Vanity Fair.
“She’s a beautiful person inside and out. She's just a good soul.
“I'm not sure what she thinks. I'm just mom to her. I really have a rich, personal relationship with my daughter. I have a really great career, and it's nice to be able to share it with my kids.”
Ava also has two siblings, Tennessee Toth and Deacon Phillippe, who are also often pictured on the pair’s Instagram accounts.

The pair appear to have a close bond and often talk publicly of their relationship.
“This is the gorgeous woman who taught me about the power of graciousness, love, ambition, and hard work,” Ava wrote about her mum on Instagram in 2019.
“She inspires me everyday to live with gratitude for the life I've been given and compassion for others. I’m thinking about her a little extra today, that’s all.”
Last year, ‘The Morning Show’ actress appeared on the cover of Vogue with her daughter Ava and mother Betty.
The trio are pictured together in the February 2019 issue of the fashion bible, complete with matching hairstyles – slicked back blonde ponytails – and orange-red lipstick, which further highlighted the family resemblance.
