Witherspoon briefly appeared in Friends as Jill, the sister of Aniston’s character Rachel Green, in a supporting role back in 1994. The Morning Show will mark the first time the pair have acted together since then.
Fans have praised Witherspoon’s new look, commenting on Instagram: “Your hair is lovely that color!” and “GORGEOUS.”
Another commented: “Love the darker hair color on you.”
They also made their approval known on Twitter.

Witherspoon is known for her trademark blonde hairstyle, which is synonymous with her character Elle Woods in the film Legally Blonde.
Although a natural brunette, she has spent much of her career sporting the light shade. Her lookalike daughter, Ava Phillippe, 19, is a natural blonde.
The only exceptions have been for film roles: in 2004, Witherspoon dyed her hair dark brown to play June Carter Cash in Walk the Line, and later she did the same to star in American drama film The Good Lie in 2013.

Now it seems she has dyed her hair yet again in the name of her acting, for her upcoming role alongside Aniston.
Witherspoon recently spoke about developing grey hair in an interview with Allure, saying she “likes” the change.
She said: “I'm 43 and I've had a whole bunch of experiences, and I can speak with a thoughtfulness about the changes I'd like to see in the world, and... I just feel like I earned that grey hair and my fine lines. I like 'em.”
