Prosecco mince pies are here to booze up Christmas even further
Christmas involves eating rather a lot of different foods, and drinking rather a lot of drinks.
And on the big day we’re certainly not lacking on the booze front – think of the champagne, port, wine, brandy, the lot.
But how about we made it even boozier with prosecco mince pies?
Yes – mince pies containing prosecco-soaked fruit are here to save Christmas 2016.
Thanks to Oast to Host, this boozed-up fruit is mixed with lemons, oranges, limes, spices, chopped almonds, fresh fruit juice, apple, sherry and brandy to make the mince pies.
While the concept may shock mince pie purists out there, few wouldn’t admit that it sounds absolutely delicious.
They’d be so, so much tastier than your traditional Christmas pudding soaked in brandy (totally overrated).
They’d also make great late-night Twixtmas snacks, but if you wanted to give them as a gift, you can get them personalised. We all know someone they’d be perfect for.
And if that person has any intolerances, good news: They’re homemade, gluten and wheat free too.
They’ll set you back £12.50 – which isn’t too bad, really – and they deliver to all over the UK mainland for free.
Important question: Would you still add brandy butter to them?
