Alcoholic jam is here for your next boozy breakfast
Whether it’s red wine hot chocolate or anti-ageing gin, we’re always up for a twist on our favourite alcoholic beverages.
So how would you feel if you could spread yours on toast?
Yes – alcoholic jam is here, and it sounds pretty delicious.
While nothing beats a classic marmalade or raspberry conserve, what if it had a little extra something added into it – aka booze?
No, we’re not talking about strawberry jam with a shot of vodka, but classy flavours such as pear and Amaretto, pear gooseberry and London gin, and plum fig and brandy.
If you spread some of this stuff on scones, toast or swirled it into your porridge, it would sure jazz up your brunch.
And change the definition of a ‘boozy breakfast’ forever more (though you could always have prosecco too anyway).
For the festive among us, there’s also a Christmas pudding flavour, because why not? It would make a darn good stocking filler too.
The jams are just £5 a pot – not bad – and are gluten free, vegetarian and vegan too.
We can’t wait to give those dozy Twixtmas mornings a bit of a kick.
