Priyanka Chopra elevates the humble black gown with Elizabethan inspired ruffles
Priyanka Chopra has really upped the style stakes since collaborating with celebrity stylist Law Roach.
Her style has never been bad, by any means, but the pair’s working relationship has really shone a light on the certain je ne sais quoi that the actor has to offer, and her latest gown is no exception.
The actor and new mum-of-one stepped out on Tuesday evening in Paris in a stunning black-and-white gown by designer Robert Wun.
It featured a black central dress with white ruffle embellishment, and honestly, it need to be seen to be believed.
But the skin-tight black dress wasn’t about showing off the actor’s stunning silhouette. In fact, her curvaceous figure was hidden in some places thanks to the larger-than-life, bright white, Elizabethan-style ruffles positioned around the gown.
Of course, that doesn’t mean it didn’t accentuate Chopra’s figure at all. Subtle smaller edges of the ruffles came in at her waist, and the juxtaposition of the black figure-hugging dress against the bright white ruffles highlighted her silhouette in sections.

The dress also featured crossover straps at the back for a modern lift and its plunging deep-V cut made way for Chopra's glittering diamond necklace to take centre stage.
The Quantico star wore a diamond and emerald drop necklace by the esteemed jewellery house for the event in Paris and wore her hair back in a loose French bun, save for her curtain-style bangs at the front.
Chopra took to Instagram to share a number of images of her show-stopping dress, captioning the sultry snaps: “It’s never just black and white…”
The actor has been in Paris with the jewellery house this week, celebrating the unveiling of Bulgari's newest High Jewellery Collection.
