On 23rd April, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge debuted their third child – a second son – to the world from the Lindo Wing steps.

Two days later, royal fans across the globe are still patiently waiting to find out the newborn’s name.

And Prince William couldn’t help but tease the nation at this afternoon’s Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving in honour of Anzac Day at Westminster Abbey.

When greeting guests lined up outside of London’s historical building, he was overheard joking to one man that his son has a ‘strong name’.

He was then asked how mother and baby are doing to which he replied, “They’re very well, thanks.”

The 35-year-old then added further insight into his new life as a father-of-three: “Sleeping’s going reasonably well so far, so he’s behaving himself which is good news.”

Arthur is the currently the reigning moniker for the prince and some fans believe that the Duke of Cambridge hinted at the royal baby’s name at St Mary’s Hospital.

According to multiple reports, Prince William pointed to a photographer for The Sun and said: “There’s Arthur, there he is”.

The photographer in question is named Arthur Edwards, and who could shrug off the very fact that Edward is also in the running for the baby name?

The traditional moniker joins the likes of James, Charles and Albert at the top of the leaderboard.

The royal couple usually reveal the name of their children within 48 hours after Kensington Palace announce the birth so it’s likely that the newborn prince’s moniker will be revealed soon.
