William and Kate afraid of being 'overshadowed' by Harry and Meghan
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of royal activity.
Baby Archie made his debut, Lady Gabriella Windsor tied the knot and the Sussexes and the Cambridges have had a packed schedule.
So much so, that royal expert Camilla Tominey thinks Prince William and Kate Middleton are desperately trying to stay relevant.
“What you have is a couple not wanting to be overshadowed, and a couple not wanting to be sidelined,” Camilla said on This Morning.
It comes after the Sussexes uploaded an intimate slideshow of previously unseen wedding photos to their 8.3m Instagram followers on Sunday in a bid to celebrate their first anniversary.

The move was an interesting one for a couple who continually publicise their apparent want for privacy, particularly surrounding the birth of their son Archie.
Just hours after the snaps went live, the Cambridges decided to share pictures of their own, this time featuring Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis playing in Kate’s new garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.
What’s notable about both couple’s publicity attempts was perhaps the unprecedented nature of the releases.
“It seems like, why would you release photographs that [the newspapers] all want to run, it seems like there's a bit of a clash,” Camilla said.
“I think this is going to be the problem moving forward.”

Never before have William and Kate voluntarily shared such intimate footage of their family, while Harry and Meghan have gone to even further lengths to protect their privacy since marrying last May.
And while the overlap may seem like an innocent clash of timetables, palace aides are insisting there’s more to it.
“It was a case of anything you can do, we can do better,” one insider told The Express.
The problem of the couples’ clashing schedules was previously raised in January, when both Meghan and Kate appeared at separate events on the same day.
“There does seem to be a little concern about the two women carrying out engagements on the same day,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
“At least because the newspapers don’t seem to know who to put on their front page.”
“Possibly Kate does feel a little eclipsed by Meghan, who’s just come along to such huge media interests, public interests and being so successful from the start,” she added.
