Paris Jackson shows off her leg hair in body-positive post
Paris Jackson has hit back at body-shamers with a truly candid Instagram post.
The 19-year-old star posted a photo of her long leg hair to her 1.9 million followers, captioning it: “If you’re not competing with your brother over who can grow longer leg hair, wyed.”

It follows her VMAs red carpet debut on Sunday night which saw Jackson showing off her armpit hair in a dreamy Dior dress.
The daughter of Michael Jackson has been outspoken about her au naturel way of thinking in the past.
Earlier this year, she went on a body-positive rant on Snapchat, saying: “I didn’t realise that people were going to get so upset over my armpit hair. I didn’t realise that was such an issue. It is so funny.”
“People are really mad. I wish I could post some of these responses. You can just tell how angry and infuriated these people are… I love hair, and sweat, and BO. I think it’s great.”
“Some people think that it’s like super disgusting, especially on girls, but every human body does it. It’s natural. Get over it.”
“why don’t you shave?”

After her ‘shocking reveal’ on the VMAs red carpet, lots of people asked the teenager why she chose not to shave. In her usual witty humour, Jackson replied with a ‘Game of Thrones’ meme: “Winter is coming.”
Jackson follows fellow young star Bella Thorne who showed off her impressive leg hair on Snapchat in June. Madonna’s 20-year-old daughter, Lourdes, has also been known to showcase her armpit hair to the world.
Isn’t it time we stopped caring about body hair on women? If a woman wants to grow out her leg or armpit hair, let her.
After all, it’s perfectly natural. And like Jackson said, winter is coming.
