No twinning here: Meghan and Kate showcase their individual style at RAF Centenary service
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived at Westminster Abbey to mark the centenary of the Royal Air Force.
Fresh from Prince Louis’s christening yesterday, the royal foursome arrived at the iconic landmark for a service celebrating the RAF’s history.
While the princes have donned traditional uniform for the occasion, the ladies are wearing dress and hat combos.
The Duchess of Cambridge is clad in an icy blue Alexander McQueen dress with three-quarter length sleeves and her signature neckline, which she’s paired with a matching hat by Sean Barrett and nude heels.
As an Honorary Air Commandant of the RAF Air Cadets, the Duchess of Cambridge has added her sparkling Air Cadets Dacre brooch to her lapel.
In contrast, the Duchess of Sussex is wearing a bespoke Dior dress featuring her now-signature bateau neckline. The neckline, which is incredibly similar to her Givenchy wedding dress neckline, suggests the label is once again behind her look.
The 36-year-old has switched things up from her usual slim silhouette by opting for a Fifties fit and flare skirt.
She’s accessorised with a decorative hat by Stephen Jones, a chic clutch and pale heels.
Her look appears to have hit a style high note with fans:
Unpopular opinion, I know, but Meghan Markle’s style is better than Kate’s. It’s just that much more chic and youthful. She’s also less afraid of big designer names.

Other royal family members present today include the Queen, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
The service will be followed by a fly-by at Buckingham Palace and another balcony appearance from the royal family.
Later today, Meghan and Harry will fly to Dublin where they’ll spend the next two days.
