The mullet is back but the Internet is divided
It’s official: the mullet has made an unanticipated comeback (well, according to one hair stylist anyway).
John Vial co-founder of hair hotspot, Salon Sloane, has introduced the world to the bowl cut-mullet hybrid.
And the Internet understandably has questions.
The celebrity hair stylist shared a snap of the aptly named ‘wedge mullet’ via Instagram and surprisingly, the majority of comments are positive.
One follower took to the social media platform to write “Hair goals” while another described the look as ‘art’.
But we have to admit, others were less than impressed with the model’s makeshift aesthetic.
One social media user wrote, “Oh memories… this reminds me of that time my brothers cut my Barbie’s hair”.
While another joked, “I’m calling the police”.
But the renowned hairdresser is no stranger to mastering new territory, as Vial regularly shares his weird and wonderful creations via Instagram.
For the AW18 London Fashion Week Men’s shows, the hair guru was in charge of the models’ neon locks at the extraordinary Charles Jeffrey show.
But question remains, would you brave the mullet in the name of fashion?
