Michelle Obama has previously been praised by fans for showing off her natural curls.
Instead of the smooth, sleek waves she normally sports, back in 2019 the former first lady took to the stage at Essence's annual Essence Fest in New Orleans, US, and showcased a more natural do.
Many fellow curly-locked women took to social media to thank Obama for offering curly hair some representation.
Obama told the 2 Dope Queens podcast that during her time as first lady she developed "a whole strategy for hair that I'm sure a lot of white women are sitting over there going, 'Man, I didn't know all that was going on.'"
She also famously showed off her curls on the cover of Essence magazine back in 2018.
More recently, she was spotted sporting what appeared to be her natural curls on a family holiday.

As she hinted in her birthday message, Obama has previously opened up about how difficult 2020 had been on her emotionally.
On her podcast, The Michelle Obama Podcast she revealed she was suffering from “low-grade depression” due to worries over the coronavirus pandemic, racial injustice and the Trump administration.
She went on to say she had been going through “those emotional highs and lows that I think everybody feels, where you just don’t feel yourself”.
“These are not - they are not fulfilling times, spiritually,” she said.
“I know that I am dealing with some form of low-grade depression.
“Not just because of the quarantine, but because of the racial strife, and just seeing this administration, watching the hypocrisy of it, day in and day out, is dispiriting.”
