Barack Obama kisses Michelle in cute photos shared to mark her birthday
Barack Obama has shared a series of sweet black-and-white images of he and Michelle Obama, to mark his wife’s birthday today.
Michelle, who became a bestselling author with her memoir ‘Becoming’ in 2018, turned 56 today.
Every year, the former US President, 58, shares touching birthday tributes to his wife of almost two decades, with whom he shares two children, Malia Ann, 21, and Sasha, 18. Her big day today was no exception.

He shared a montage of four black and white photographs, apparently taken in a photo booth, with his 25.7 million followers on Instagram this afternoon. It has received almost 1.5 million likes on the platform at time of writing.
“In every scene, you are my star,” Barack wrote in the caption.
In two images from the intimate photo series, Barack wraps his arms around his wife and kisses her, while in another photograph Michelle cradles his head, and the other image shows the pair making goofy poses while looking straight at the camera.
Unsurprisingly, Barack’s followers responded positively.
“Be still my heart,” wrote one person in the comments section, while another added, “You two are everything!!! So many blessings to you guys!!!”

“Happy her birthday to you and your brave gorgeous wife,” was another comment.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen intimate, natural images of the Obamas.
Last year, Lawrence Jackson, an official photographer for the Obama family, released his book entitled ‘Yes We Did’, featuring behind-the-scenes photographs of the Obamas during their time at the White House. The sweet images includes ones of Michelle and Barack play-fighting in the Oval Office.
