Michelle Obama, 55, showed up at the Grammys last night, to the delight of the music industry’s best and brightest.
The First Lady and ‘Becoming’ author made a surprise appearance at the Grammy Awards ceremony, which was held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
She was pictured alongside the likes of Alicia Keys, Jada Pinkett Smith, J Lo and Lady Gaga.

“It allows us to hear one another, to invite each other in. Music shows us that all of it matters: Every story within every voice, every note within every song. Is that right, ladies?”
Obama has gone from strength to strength since the publication of her memoir, ‘Becoming’, late last year.
Last December, she delighted fans on social media, wearing a sparkly £3,000 pair of boots by Balenciaga for an interview with Sarah Jessica Parker, 53, as part of her book tour.
