Meghan Markle wears another bespoke Givenchy sweater - worth £670
A Givenchy champion through and through, Meghan Markle wore a second, bespoke jumper by the French fashion house on the last day of her royal tour.
The Duchess paired the plain, short-sleeved knit with a skirt by the same designer and Manolo Blahnik BB Pumps during a public through the Rotorua gardens in New Zealand.
This is the second time the Duchess of Sussex has opted for the knitted basic, which she wore a green version of when she visited Ireland in July this year.
In Ireland, the 37-year-old paired the top with a pencil skirt, heels and her go-to Birks earrings.
While Meghan’s navy top is unavailable to buy, a similar Givenchy style is available for £670 from Net-a-Porter.
Clearly Meghan – who has a keen eye for detail – knows what works for her, and we all know the importance of a good basic.
According to the e-tailer, the garment offers a ‘close fit’, which is perfect to create the sleek silhouettes Meghan tends to go for, while the mid-weight knit material is handy for avoiding any awkward clingy moments.
The moral of the story?
If you find something that suits you, buy it twice – although we may not be splashing out quite as much as Meghan.
