Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's child could be educated in the US, says royal historian

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first baby in spring 2019, but there has already been discussion about the child’s future.
“This child will be able to carve their own future, they’re a bit more flexible in their future life, than say George or Charlotte, because they are very close to the throne,” royal historian and author Ted Powell tells Yahoo UK’s The Royal Box.
“It’s very likely George will become King eventually so his path is mapped out.”
Royal expert Victoria Murphy thinks it’s unlikely that Meghan and Harry will move to the US.
She says: “Their children are most likely not going to have royal roles, but Meghan and Harry are, and they will continue to be working royals – they need to be carrying out engagements.”
Powell suggests their children could make the move though.
He says: “I think there’s a real chance that this child will actually spend a bit of time of education in America, possibly a year in high school, possibly going to university.
“I think her American heritage is very important to Meghan and she won’t want to be the sort of royal wife who just gets totally sucked into the Royal Family and loses her identity.”
The Duke and Duchess are currently on their tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.
