Meghan Markle and Prince Harry plan traditional christening for baby Archie next month at Windsor Castle
It’s been several weeks since we last got a peek at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s adorable baby son Archie, when they shared a photo of his feet to celebrate US Mother’s Day.
But we could see him out in public again as soon as next month.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to have a traditional christening for their firstborn at Windsor Castle, report the Times.
Archie, who will be two months old, is to be baptised at St George’s Chapel where his brow will be doused from the lily font with water from the River Jordan.

It is where his parents married last year, and also where a three-month-old Harry was himself baptised in 1984.
Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be leading the royal attendance at the christening.
Archie’s grandmother Doria Ragland is also expected to fly over from her Los Angeles home.
However, the Queen will miss the ceremony due to prior commitments.

While she attended the christenings of Prince George and Princess Charlotte, she did not go to Prince Louis’s.
In March, she was in the congregation at the christening of her seventh great-grandchild Lena Tindall, the second daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall.
Archie will wear a replica of the Honiton lace christening gown, which was commissioned by Queen Victoria for the baptism of her first child, Princess Victoria, in 1841.
While the original was worn by 62 royal babies, including Harry and William, the Queen decided it was too fragile to keep being worn, and so a replica was made.

It is believed the christening will be conducted by the Dean of Windsor, the Rev David Conner, and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.
The latter baptised and confirmed Meghan into the Anglican faith two months before her wedding last year.
While Archie’s godparents are yet to be announced, there has been speculation about how could make the cut.
Possibilities include Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney, and Mark Dyer, a former equerry to the Prince of Wales.
Celebrities including George and Amal Clooney, Serena Williams and Sir Elton John are also believed to be in the running.
