McDonald's might be introducing a home delivery service
When you’re deciding which takeaway to order, it’s usually Chinese food, Indian food or pizza.
Considering that burgers – namely a little company named McDonald’s – is one of our favourite fast food treats, why isn’t that an option on the list too?
It could be soon, as the global burger joint has hinted at adding home delivery to its offerings.

And no, not just in the US – it could be coming to the UK.
The chain has hinted that it could roll it out in the UK, U.S, France, Germany and Canada, as it described itself in a statement as “uniquely positioned to become the global leader in delivery”:
“In McDonald’s top five markets (U.S., France, the U.K., Germany and Canada) nearly 75% of the population lives within three miles of a McDonald’s,” it read.

It continued:
“No other food company in the world has this reach and ability to be this convenient to so many customers through delivery.

“Currently, McDonald’s is experimenting with different delivery models including partnering with third parties for ordering and fulfilment throughout the world.”
That sounds like a pretty big hint to us, so perhaps soon there’ll no longer be a need to drag ourselves out to our nearest Maccy D’s for that cheeseburger.
