Here's how to get a free McMuffin next week

McDonald’s will be giving out free McMuffins next week, and anybody in the UK can get their hands on one.

All you have to do is use the McDonald’s app to purchase a hot drink and then you’ll be able to choose from any single McMuffin you fancy, including: sausage and egg, egg and cheese, and bacon and egg.

The offer will run from Monday 9 to Friday 13 September while breakfast is being served.

If you don’t already have it, the McDonald’s app is free to download, but the offer is valid one per customer.

Now, where can we get hold of numerous phones?

Prices vary, but the cheapest hot drink comes in at £1.09 for a cup of tea. So, the deal will save you around £2.69.

And, if your friends aren’t fans of McDonald’s and don’t mind you downloading the app on their phones, you could really save yourself a small fortune.

McDonald’s like it when we order things through the app.

So much so, this isn’t their first treat. A little while ago they offered us a gratis cheesy flatbread if we ordered a hot drink through the app.

Thanks, but we’ll take the McMuffin.

The breakfast menu finishes at 10.30am for most of us mere mortals. However, if you’re lucky enough to live next to a special McDonald’s, you might be able to get the free McMuffin until 11am.

Thanks to a successful trial, 115 McDonald’s restaurants now serve breakfast until 11am.

Not ours, though. *Roll eyes emoji*

This later time means that some people - we repeat, not us - can order McDonald’s via UberEats to their house as late as 10.45am.

That’s prime Sunday-morning hangover food time right there.
