McDonald's has launched spicy chicken nuggets in the UK

Everyone loves a good chicken nugget and there’s no better place to buy them than McDonald’s.

And now the fast food staple is about to get a makeover as McDonald’s had just launched a new spicy version complete with a Tabasco dip.

It will be the first time the spicy McNuggets will be available to buy in the UK, after successful trials in the US and Asia and Australian branches of the fast food chain where they are a permanent fixture.

The new nuggets are available from today and come in sizes of six, nine or 20 packs.

Prices vary from £3.19 for six, £3.49 for nine and £4.99 for 20 - the same cost of the normal nuggets.

But you’ll have to be quick, they are only available for seven weeks.

Lucky festivalgoers had the opportunity to test out the new nuggets earlier this year at Y Not in Derbyshire after 1,000 lucky McDonald’s fans got the chance to try them, including YouTub star Mark Ferris.

Last week McDonald’s announced it would be extending their breakfast hours from 10.30am to 11am in 115 restaurants. If the trial goes well, the fast food chain will roll it out across its 1,249 branches in the UK.
