MAFS UK's Polly hits back after fans say Adam never fancied her from the start fuming 'stop calling me delusional'
Married at First Sight UK star Polly Sellman has hit back in a furious rant after fans of the E4 show claimed that her husband Adam Nightingale has never fancied her. The pair have had a rollercoaster ride throughout the series, with barber Adam, 35, previously admitting that careers advisor Polly, 28, isn't his type.
Following last night's episode, which saw Adam question whether she was "his person" ahead of their final vows, Polly took to Instagram Stories to speak out. She began: "Bit of reflection upon last night's episode considering you all think I'm stupid and f***ing delusional. Myself and Adam had many conversations behind closed doors and on camera (funnily enough hasn't been show) of the future together."
She went on: "Adam said to me ONCE he'd like to go home and I actually encouraged a chat with welfare and production and he decided to not follow this up. Take of that what you will. But what I took from that was he wanted to stay because he wanted to try.

"There have been things you haven't seen that have made me write stay consistently throughout the weeks (which also people could see) and he never ever told me he was ever going to write different. It's all well and good saying he never fancied you from the beginning you've had to beg him to sleep with you bla bla bla. But when you also have someone who's actions (and words) were saying completely different, it's very confusing!!!!"
Polly ended her post by begging viewers to stop calling her "delusional". She said: "Please stop calling me delusional, because if anything I'm just a f***ing idiot who was taking anything she could get to try and make the relationship work. I'm too self aware to be delusional. Please don't insult me."
It comes after fans took to social media to give their opinion on the relationship, with many accusing Adam of never being into Polly. One wrote: "Hopefully the penny has finally dropped for Polly. Adam really tried to fancy you for weeks but it was obvious from day 1 he wasn't into you."
Someone else said: "Polly you're just setting yourself up for heartache. Adam is just not into you. Move on," while a third added: "Adam don't fancy Polly."
Polly had previously shared a sweet tribute to Adam on Instagram, thanking him for going on a "once in a lifetime journey" with her. Viewers will find out next week whether the pair decide to stay together or call it quits for good.
