Jessie J shares infertility struggles, but vows she will be a mum one day
Jessie J has hinted about her fertility struggles, while revealing that she one day hopes to be a mum herself.
Uploading a sweet snap of herself as a baby to celebrate International Mother’s Day, the singer went on to applaud all mothers while also vowing to try to realise her own dreams of becoming a mother.
“Women are INCREDIBLE! I love you ALL. This is me when I was a baby. One day. I will be a mother,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.
The powerful caption also paid tribute to mothers everywhere and the journeys they took to parenthood, including those who have adopted children, those who have frozen their eggs, those going through IVF and those who have fostered.
“Mothers who have 1 child, Mothers who have 10+ children, Mothers who have adopted, Mothers who have fostered, Mothers who haven’t yet but want to one day, Mothers who know they can but are struggling, Mothers freezing eggs for when the time is right, Mothers doing endless rounds of IVF, Mothers who are younger, Mothers who are older, Mothers who are still trying, Mothers who are expecting, Mothers who have just become a mother,” she wrote.

The Price Tag singer also paid tribute to the mothers who have lost children or loved ones.
“You are so POWERFUL! Never forget your strength and the love that lives within you. My heart, my love and positive healing calm energy is being sent to YOU right now,” she added before making her own motherhood hopes to conclude her poignant post.

Jessie J has previously opened up about her fertility struggles on-stage as she revealed her “sadness” that she is unable to conceive a child naturally.
The singer reportedly made the revelation during a performance at the Royal Albert Hall in November 2018.
According to Metro, Jessie said: “I was told four years ago that I can’t ever have children. I don't tell you guys for sympathy because I’m one of millions of women and men that have gone through this and will go through this.”
She added: “It can’t be something that defines us but I wanted to write this song for myself in my moment of pain and sadness but also to give myself joy, to give other people something that they can listen to in that moment when it gets really hard. So if you’ve ever experienced anything with this or have seen somebody else go through it or have lost a child, then please know you’re not alone in your pain and I’m thinking of you when I sing this song.”

The former Voice Kids judge has chosen to speak out about her infertility struggles in order to help others who might be going through something similar.
“I've always been someone that is open and honest,” she previously told Heart Breakfast. “And from a very very young age I've always stood in the middle of my pain and my battles with everything. And I think it's basically made me who I am today and the artist I am and the music I make.
“So four and a half, five years ago I was diagnosed with this disease that, you know is making it harder. I was told I couldn't have children, I don't believe it. I believe in miracles. I haven't given up.”
When it comes to her relationship status, Jessie J has been enjoying an on/off romance with actor Channing Tatum.
Jessie sparked rumours the pair had reunited after a second split earlier this year after wishing Tatum a happy 40th birthday at the end of last month.
