The Internet can't get enough of this new mum's breast milk photo
A baby picture has gone viral after a new mum posted a snap of her newborn surrounded by the eight gallons of breast milk she’d managed to pump.
Nia Malika shared the image to Instagram of her baby Nora surrounded by an impressive 30 litres of frozen breast milk.
“I want the best for my baby,” she wrote in the accompanying caption. “Every three hours around the clock I’m hooked up to my pump. I never miss a scheduled pump time even in the middle of the night.”
The new mum went on to say that over the past few months, she was able to store away 1000 oz of breast milk for Nora, which will help when she returns back to work.
“I’m dedicated to providing my baby with the nutrition she needs. I trust my body and know this is what I was made for,” she continued.
“When people say I’m lucky to have this supply I simply tell them I’m not lucky I’m blessed and I work really hard to get where I am and will continue to do whatever it takes to keep my girl fed,” she finished her inspiring post.
The post was quickly picked up by the Breastfeeding Mama Talk Facebook page where it continued to be shared thousands of times and received hundreds of comments from parents praising the mum for her positive post.
“Omg you are seriously goals,” one woman wrote.
“This is amazing! Over 1100 oz! Wow!” added another.

Nia joins a growing trend of mums proudly displaying their love for breastfeeding by arranging frozen bags of breast milk around their babies in a heart shape.
While some women are pumping then storing the breast milk to help prepare for a return to work, others are donating it to the babies of women who are unable to produce their own breast milk.
Because though breastfeeding should be celebrated, it’s important to remember that not every mum is able or wants to breast feed their little ones and formula feeding is just fine too.
