Helen Flanagan 'couldn't be happier' with implants after breastfeeding changed her figure
Helen Flanagan has said she “couldn’t be happier” with her new breast implants.
The former Coronation Street star has been open about her plastic surgery journey on Instagram, and recently revealed how pleased she is with the results.
Posting a video of herself showcasing her figure in a mirror, Flanagan wrote in a caption: “[Getting breast implants] was something I wanted to do for a really long time and by doing so I’ve really got my confidence back.”

The 32-year-old explained that she breastfed for a total of three years with her three children, and that she knew she wanted to get surgery “straight away” once she had finished breastfeeding her youngest child, Charlie.
“I felt like you could tie them in a bow,” Flanagan joked, later adding that she “couldn’t be happier” with the results and that she’s been showing “all” of her girlfriends.
“I am all for body confidence and I am all for empowering other women and supporting other women in their decisions that they decide to make,” Flanagan added.
She explained that her recovery was “amazing” and said that she went for a 340cc sized implant as she wanted the result to be “super-natural”. In plastic surgery terms, 340cc is a moderate size and sees most women go up at least one cup size.
Breast implants are one of the most common cosmetic surgery procedures in the UK – in fact, between October 2016 and June 2018, the NHS recorded at least 20,095 breast implant surgeries. The average breast implant surgery can cost anywhere from £3,500 to £8,000, according to the NHS not including the cost of consultations or follow-up care.
For Flanagan, the results have been well worth it.
“It was a good start of the year for me as I want to feel good this summer,” she said. “I’ve done the baby stage and it’s nice to be now coming to a place where I can work on myself.”
Flanagan’s followers were quick to comment in praise of the star’s decision, with one person @gemcann86 writing: “You look amazing!”

Flanagan first shared her decision to have breast implants earlier in January, when she posted a video to Instagram saying: “I wanted to pop on here. I'm actually really nervous about sharing this actually but I've had a boob job.
“I had it done on Thursday. Yeah, so I'm in recovery at the moment. I have been really nervous about sharing this, because you always get some, like, not very nice comments...
"It's just something that I did for myself, I really wanted to do it for my confidence.”
