Chrissy Teigen talks breast surgery considerations: 'This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.’
Chrissy Teigen has opened up about her plastic surgery for the very first time.
The presenter revealed that she had breast implant surgery when she was a 20-year-old swimsuit model.
In an interview with Glamour, Teigen, 34, admitted she wants the implants out but feels more “hesitant” now she’s a mother.
Her and her husband, John Legend, have two children together - Luna, three, and Miles who is almost two.
“I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old,” she said in the interview.
“It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky!”
Teigen’s surgery was more about lifting them than increasing the cup size.
“I just filled them out so they are rounder and firmer. I had a quarter ‘teardrop’ cup in the bottom and filled out the breast line.”

As time has gone by, her opinion on her breast implants has changed, which she puts down to having children.
“But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.” She explained.
With being a mother comes responsibility and Teigen doesn’t feel quite as relaxed about going under the knife again in her 30s.
“If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift. I think you’re supposed to replace [implants] every ten years. But when you have kids you think about [the risks] of surgery and I think, ‘This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.’”
After the interview was published, Teigen went straight onto Instagram to announce that this was the first time she had openly spoken about her boob job.
“Happy “now you know I got my boobs done when I was 20” day!!!!! Talk about a weight lifted off my chest!!! LOO LOL LOL LOL LOAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHHHAHAHAHGGAAH.” She joked.
