A prosecco ATM in London is dispensing free wine all day
January has been a long month.
It’s cold, nobody can remember the last time they got paid and since we’re having to wear so many layers, the tube is hotter than ever.
It’s a hard life, but it’s about to get a bit easier for Londoners.
Vagabond Wines has just put up a free ATM outside its new Monument bar. No, it’s not giving out free money but it is giving out the next best thing.
Free prosecco.

You might’ve heard of Vagabond Wines before. It’s not their first location in London. In fact, they have seven others including Charlotte Street, Paddington and Canary Wharf.
You can even get a wine qualification from there.
To mark the new bar, they’re giving fun-starved Londoners a little pick-me-up on this hump day.
The alcohol dispenser works like a public water dispenser. You put your glass under and simply fill it up. You won’t be able to miss it either because it’s bright yellow.
There’s method to this genius as well. The new East London bar is located in an old bank, so the ATM is excellent in more than one way.
The main reason though, let’s face it, is the free prosecco.

Vagabond Monument will be officially opening its doors tomorrow (Thursday 30) - it’s as if they knew Dry January was coming to an end.
If you can’t haul yourself over to Monument on short-notice today, never fear, the “Vagabank” will be open tomorrow as well.
It is a pop-up, though, so after tomorrow you can say goodbye to prosecco on tap. Well, unless you go into the bar and pay for it.
If you haven’t quite filled your boots with the free prosecco, the brand also has a launch party tomorrow night which is open to everyone - as long as you RSVP.
That’s right, you don’t have to be a celebrity or friend to the stars to get into this party.

If you don’t like prosecco, the party might be more of your style.
The bar will be offering 160 different wines as well as 10 craft beers.
If you’re feeling really fancy - or just got a birthday coming up and nothing planned - they’ve even got a private tasting room.
If you need a little nudge in the right direction, you might be interested to know that there are numerous unexpected health benefits in prosecco (when drunk in moderation, of course).
It has been linked to lowering blood pressure and it can even provide you with some protection against the common cold.
