The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reveal when their third baby is due
Rumours that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge‘s third baby would be born in March have been proved wrong as Kensington Palace has confirmed the due date of the next royal baby.
“Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April,” said a spokesman.
The date could be close to Kate and William’s wedding anniversary (April 29) or Princess Charlotte‘s birthday (May 2).
There was speculation that Prince William had given away Kate’s due date in early September when he told members of the public: “We just need Catherine to get over this first bit, then we can start celebrating next week.”
This led many to believe that the Duchess was around 11 weeks pregnant at the time and would hit the crucial 12 week mark a few days later.
Kate has been suffering from extreme morning sickness since the start of her pregnancy, forcing Kensington Palace to announce the royal’s pregnancy early.
She made her first appearance in six weeks last Tuesday to celebrate World Mental Health Day with another surprise visit on Monday to Paddington station.
It was also announced today that the Duke and Duchess will be making a trip to Norway and Sweden in early 2018 for yet another royal tour.
